At easysportsmatch.com we take a look around the world to find out how people are getting fit.  In Cape Town there is a lot of emphasis on looking toned.  The current trend is to mix cardiovascular and weight training and you can do this at your gym or at home.

All you need is a stepper or skipping rope and a set of weights.

Begin your workout with at least a 10 min warm up.  Follow your normal weights routine with 15-20 reps per weights set but between every set do a minute of skipping or step (or any other form of cardiovascular).  So you are shedding fat whilst toning up.  Toned muscles will raise your metabolism and therefore help you lose more weight.
